Overcoming the enemy in the End Times: The Blood, Testimony and Courage

In these end times we are witnessing the spiritual battle intensifying around us. The enemy knows his time is almost finished and many people feel under spiritual or physical attack.

Thankfully Jesus has given keys to overcome the enemy during this time. In Revelation 12:11 He says:

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”

What does this mean? It means we remember the blood of Jesus during communion and Passover and daily proclaim His death and victory. It means we are to testify to the resurrection of Jesus and how He set us free. And it also means we should not hold on to our lives, but be willing to lay down our lives and have great courage to stand up for Him.

One of the most powerful weapons in the end times is remembering the blood and telling our testimony with great courage… AT THE SAME TIME.

Telling your testimony is a powerful weapon in the spirit realm. The enemy doesn’t like to be exposed and doesn’t like to be reminded of his loss. The more you tell your testimony the more demons flee. According to Revelation 19:10 the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy. The more you testify of your salvation through Jesus, the more people get saved. It is asking God to do it again. In many churches we testify about healings and indeed others are also healed.

But how about testifying of our salvation? Then more people will get saved.

In 2012 the Lord rescued me out of kabbalah with great signs and wonders. We had many dreams and He set me free supernaturally. The only reason I was able to survive was because Jesus already paid the price for my freedom with His own blood 2000 years ago. Then, the Lord said “You are my witness, go and testify, so others can also find freedom.” I had to lay down my life and testify with great courage on national TV in the Netherlands about how Jesus rescued me. I discovered that the more I testified, the more the demons were exposed and they started to flee and many people found salvation in Jesus. At first, testifying was one of the hardest things for me to do because it meant I had to give up my reputation and what other people thought of me. It meant having extreme courage, which was only possible through the strength of the Holy Spirit. But I kept doing it, and the Lord supplied many more opportunities to tell my story. Yes, it was also important to pray for protection but testifying was going on the offense, and the battle is not won by just sitting in the defense. It is won by going on the offense (Spiritual Warfare Pt. 11. Dereck Prince).

And by celebrating Passover and decreeing blood of Jesus

Interestingly, every year, since I was saved, the Lord has asked me to testify and celebrate Passover around the same time. I have learned that it is a powerful statement in the spirit realm of the victory of Jesus and releases freedom, hope and great blessing.

Passover is more than just a Jewish holiday. Passover is the Biblical feast of salvation and redemption. According to the Bible it’s Gods feast (Exodus 12:11). On Passover we commemorate that we are no longer slaves and live in freedom. It is not just a holiday, but on this day we remember the blood of the Lamb that set us free and at the same time we tell the story of our redemption. We tell the physical story of how God led the Israelites out of Egypt and also the spiritual story of how Jesus fulfilled Passover with His life by becoming the Lamb and dying for our sins, so we could live.

Passover is remembering how the Messiah Jesus set us free from sin and death and translated out of the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light. During the last supper, Jesus also celebrated Passover and said to His disciples:

With desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer.” (Luke 22:15).

On Passover we remember the blood four times and at the same time tell the testimony of our salvation. This reminds the enemy of his defeat and puts him to shame. In 2015 I had a dream and saw a long silver sword on a set table. It meant that celebrating Passover for Jesus is one of the most powerful spiritual weapons we can do. It’s Revelation 12:11 all at once, and we do it in unity with other believers. Yes, we can celebrate the Lord’s supper every day but on Passover it is a special time that God has given us to remember His Son’s death and tell the story of how He defeated death to our whole family and proclaim God’s freedom over them. It is an anointed time to tell the gospel to your household and friends, church and at the same time decree the blood of Jesus over them.

Remembering the blood, telling our testimony, and at the same time being willing to lay down our life for Jesus are three important keys to overcoming the enemy in these end times. So keep remembering the blood and tell your testimony with extreme courage every chance you get!

I pray that during these times we will keep testifying of His death and resurrection so that His freedom will come to all!
