Jesus (Yeshua) is alive today and He wants to get to know you. He died and rose from the dead for your sins so that you can be free. All you have to do is turn to him and ask for his help. Romans 10:9-10 says that if you declare with your mouth (speak it out loud) and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead you will be saved:
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. Romans 10: 9,10
The key is really believing with your heart and opening your heart to him, repenting of your sins and verbally making Him Lord of your life. We all come to a point in our life, when we realize we cannot do it on our own, and we allow Him to rescue us. It is only through the grace of God, that he saves us and He paid for all our sins and the permissions made by the devil with His blood. You don’t have to be perfect. You have to realize you can’t be perfect and that you need God’s help. It is important that you choose Him with your own free will, not because anyone is forcing you or because of religious rules.
God wants our hearts and longs for us to get to know him. If you want to get to him too, and want Him to set you free, please pray this prayer OUT LOUD:
“Lord God of Israel, I believe with my whole heart in your Son Jesus (Yeshua). I believe He is the Messiah and died for my sins, and rose from the dead to set me free from darkness. I turn to you and ask you in the name of Jesus to forgive my sins, and anything that I have done against you knowingly or unknowingly. I ask Jesus to come and live in my heart. I pray that His blood will be at the doorpost of my heart. I accept Jesus as my Savior, my Rescuer. With my own free will I choose to make Jesus Lord over my life and I will follow Him with all my heart. Thank you Lord for your grace. Please send me your Holy Spirit to guide me in my life.”
