Connecting numbers and character is becoming a widespread phenomenon all over the world. This means that a person chooses with their own free will to be a character or number, or they are assigned a number or character through a typological system. One of the main ways which occultists use to manipulate humans is with number and character linkage. Astrology, horoscopes, tarot cards, and fortune telling, work this way, but also intricate systems like the tree of life in kabbala and the enneagram.
There are many different levels in number and character linkage. Some seem very simple, and categorize humans into to 4 groups or 12 types (12 months-astrology), others divide our characters into 8 or 9 types. In general, people are assigned a number or a type (usually through their birthday or year), and their character is assessed from this. Through this number they can supposedly then learn more about themselves, relating to others, God, or know the future. Allegedly the typology of the numbers goes through a divine system, saying God created people through numbers and divided our characters into groups and types. In Kabbala the tree of life is associated with the spiritual travel of the soul throughout our life (or lives), in the Enneagram it works the same way only it is associated with psychology and how we relate to each other. Each of these systems think they have the key to understanding behind all souls.
The occultist that we encountered used number and character association to manipulate people (see the book Awestruck by Glory). She used regular playing cards and the kabbala tree of life and claimed that each personal was a card or number. With the kabbala tree of life she showed us which sephirot our soul was connected to and how it connected to other sephirot, and the pathway of our future. She also associated our souls with Biblical characters and said we related to people in the same way that these characters did.
What happens in the spirit realm when you connect yourself to a number or character?
Your soul connects to that number and spirits can manipulate you through that number. In the spirit realm everything happens through permission. By associating yourself with a number or character you are AGREEING with it and you give a spirit permission to manipulate and influence you. These numbers and characters link your soul to those spirits and they then bind you. Association with a number or character gives demons permission in your life and they then influence you to make you believe it is even more real.
What are these systems?
Character and number systems are intricate and have been found throughout time and places all over the world. They intrigue humans because they want to learn more. The systems are however, lies made by fallen angels-the devil. The fallen angels either made them up or are twisting things of God to try and sell knowledge of things of God so they can manipulate people. In both cases God wants us to stay away from it. God never gave us these systems to analyze our souls, He gave us his Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit so we can learn more through him.
What does the Bible say about it?
Number and character linkage work in the same way as astrology and divination, acquiring secret knowledge through omens. In the spirit realm it is also closely related to witchcraft and manipulation of souls. In the Bible God is very clear about these things: He abhors it and warns us to get involved with this in a way. God says this for a reason, because he wants to protect our souls from the influence of demons. He gives us free will, but he warns us from danger and not to connect our souls with these occult practices. He says this because he loves us, not to punish us.
“There shall not be found among you anyone who burns his son or his daughter as an offering, anyone who practices divination or tells fortunes or interprets omens, or a sorcerer or a charmer or a medium or a necromancer or one who inquires of the dead, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord. And because of these abominations the Lord your God is driving them out before you. You shall be blameless before the Lord your God, for these nations, which you are about to dispossess, listen to fortune-tellers and to diviners. But as for you, the Lord your God has not allowed you to do this.”

Conclusion:
Do not associate yourself with a number or a character in any way. Do not let anyone assign you a number or a character. You are not a number. You are not someone else, or part of some group of types of people. You are yourself. You are unique in every way. You are beautiful, God loves you and wants you to get to know him. God created us all unique and we do not need a system of numbers or characters to understand one another. He gave us the Holy Spirit to help us and lead us. Instead of spending time trying to figure out which number you are and how you relate to others, spend time in prayer with Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Learn to hear His voice. He will teach you all the secrets of about God that you need to know.

“Yes, but the numbers fit so perfectly with my character. They seem real.”
Yes, this is true. I am not saying it doesn’t work. In some cases this character assessment might sound very real (ie. the enneagram, horoscopes, astrology). Our characters in astrology often seem very real, as are the numbers in the enneagram, as are the pathways of the tree of life in kabbala. This is because the spirits connected with those numbers start to influence you. Think about this: Why do so many of these systems all seem right? Demons use those numbers and characters to manipulate people. Gods kingdom is far bigger than any of these systems. His dimension is greater and breaks through all these things and He does not use systems to manipulate our souls.
“Yes, but we are only using it for the good, we are using it to get closer to God.”
Can we use a system created by the devil to get to know one another or God? Or is it right to use the knowledge of things given by fallen angels to come to God? The Bible says:
“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!”
Isaiah 5:20 ESV
The Bible is very clear. We are not supposed to call evil things good. Even if there would be such a thing as a blueprint to our characters (our “type of souls”), God never intended for us to have this knowledge. We are supposed to come to know Him through his Son, and being filled by the Holy spirit, not by numbers.
“Yes, but God turns all things into good.”
Indeed he does, but he doesn’t allow evil, because it gives permission to demons. Yes, what was meant for evil, God will turn into good:
“and we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”
Romans 8:28
In this scripture God promises us that when the enemy attacks you God will change that situation into good. It does NOT mean that we should turn evil things into things of God. The Lord says to turn away from evil and abstain from it.

O you who love the Lord, hate evil! He preserves the lives of his saints; he delivers them from the hand of the wicked. Psalm 97:10 ESV
Abstain from every form of evil.

Jesus died to conquer evil. He gave His blood for us so we could live. It is through the Holy Spirit that our souls can hear God and come to know him…. not through a pathway or number.
